Dr. Marius Kedote is the Regional Coordinator of the Ecohealth Chair at the Community of Practice in Ecohealth for West and Central Africa (CoPEH-WCA). He also serves as a Lecturer at the Regional Institute of Public Health (IRSP) Comlan Alfred Quenum, University of Abomey-Calavi, Republic of Benin (West Africa).

In addition, he is the current Secretary-General of the Ethics Committee of the Institute of Applied Biomedical Sciences in Benin. As Regional Coordinator of the Ecohealth Chair, he leads a regional initiative involving Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, and Senegal, aimed at enhancing understanding of urban air pollution and its impact on health.

Dr. Kedote holds a PhD in Public Health, with an additional qualification in the Analysis and Evaluation of Health Interventions from the University of Montreal, Canada. His areas of specialisation include ecosystem approaches to health, as well as maternal and adolescent health.

As a researcher, he has successfully planned and implemented at least twelve research and evaluation projects focused on strengthening Benin’s health system.

He is fluent in French and has an intermediate proficiency in English
